Head of Business Development, International Restaurants – Condé Nast
The vision of Condé Nast International restaurants lies in extending the brand magazine platform to restaurants, bars and café concepts around the world, as head of business development Simon Taylor draws on his long spanning career in hospitality to implement this.
Hospitality and first class service have been at the heart of Simons career. From three years travelling the Caribbean and Mediterranean working on cruise ships, to opening a premium health club in West London and then a luxury expatriate members club in Abu Dhabi where he was head of food and beverage.
Upon his return to London, Simon joined Bacardi in their international marketing office where he created a new department directing visitor centers. During his time Simon oversaw projects totaling $75M USD of capital investment to improve the hospitality infrastructure across iconic brands like Martini, Bombay Sapphire, Dewars Whisky and Grey Goose.
To date the portfolio of restaurants in Condé Nast stable include Vogue Café and TATLER Club in Moscow, Vogue Lounge in Bangkok and Vogue Café and GQ Bar in Dubai.
